My Experience

Hi! I’m Shannon and it’s great to meet you. I’m an experienced copywriter and marketing professional with over a decade of experience helping my clients get attention and results.

Although I’ve been a freelance writer since 2015, I started my career as an attorney. After a few years in the legal space, I was ready to use my powers of persuasion for something different. That’s when I decided to follow my passion for writing and delve into the world of marketing (and I’ve been loving every minute of it).

My Focus

I work with agencies, businesses, and publications around the United States and Canada to create print and digital content. My portfolio includes everything from blog posts and SEO pages to press releases and white papers. I believe in writing people-first content that will also be highly visible both on Google search and answer engines.

Variety is the spice of life, so I love working with clients in different areas. Since I’ve been writing, I’ve written about healthcare, retail, beauty, consumer tech, hobbies, legal, marketing, travel, and non-profits. In all these areas, I’m especially passionate about creating direct-to-patient and B2C content.
